ViDBuG

ViDBuG is a visual editor for AVISynth[1] scripts. It can be used to edit videos by combining filters. A key strength is that ViDBuG will show frames from each step of the process to give the user a quick overview of the processing steps.

A major development goal is to support every feature of the language that AVISynth can recognize. This includes named variables and functions. Once all language features are recognized, any AVISynth script can opened with ViDBuG. When this happens, ViDBuG can be used as an AVISynth debugger or as a visual editor.

Currently this project needs some development work. One important aspect that is changing is the filter library file. This file lists all of the filters that are available. This file currently has many errors that need to be found and fixed. You can open the filter library file by selecting "Filter Library" from the view menu. If you find an error in this file, you can fix it and restart the application. Please also update the Filter Library page with your fix so that other people can download it and benefit.

You can download the application from the SourceForge[2] page. You should install AVISynth[3] as well.

You can also setup the DevelopmentEnvironment.

Note: Due to a flood of spam, I am requiring that all editors send me an email to activate an account. If you go to the sourceforge page you should be able to find my account name, which has an email attached to it.
